Better lock in returns now from lic else with time they will go down . 2nd mutual funds do well in bull market but if u get 1929 type or 2008 type stock market crash and if your corpus in stock market is huge , u will see sudden erosion of wealth . 1 cr will become 30 lakhs or 40 lakhs in a few weeks or months . At that time u will run faster than a rocket to remove your funds . In the end huge loss . It's human tendency . I have personally seen it in 2008 crash . Nobody will think of sip at that time when u see 60 to 70 percent sudden wealth erosion . So better to go in for something assured and guaranteed . Last point lic used to give 12 percent life long returns in early 1990's . Even to this date it gives these returns to it's investors from that era . While even fd rates have come down to 6 to 7 percent now and had reached 4 to 5 percent earlier . So think about it .

Iam niva bupa agent ... Even i have taken niva bupa policy .... Google says claim settlement ration is 99.9 but reality is only 67.4% which is lower than any health insurance. They are saying 30 minutes cashless but not they will make you for reimbursement and after that they will even reject you for reimbursement. Struggled a lot with this kind of faked benefit insurance.

Seems I made a big mistake, my existing 8 years old MFs are giving only 14-15℅ XiRR, as compare to Quants funds it is very low... Today i ,redeemed all MFs will reinvest.. So far dint find better than Quant.
